My name is Laurel and I live in South Carolina, which is right on the border with Augusta, Georgia. I claim three counties, two in Georgia and one in South Carolina. I’m in Orlando, Florida, at the 2015 Freedom Mentor event.

I think what this weekend helped me with was that I’m still quite new, and in order to prepare for the event, I had to kind of race through some of the later videos in the blueprint. This weekend has helped me kind of pull it all together, and to understand some things that have been kind of foggy to me before. Specifically, self-funding is a really interesting component of the deal. Also, I’m learning about making offers and being able to present several different options. I guess also what would be very fascinating is the psychological motivations that I’m learning about.
