Hi, I’m Heather. And, this is my husband.
Jovany: Jovany.
Heather: And, we live in Arizona. We decided to join Phil’s Program because we were tired of our mundane jobs, and wanted to get into real estate, so I became a realtor and my husband still worked a full time, 9-to-5 job. And, we were super inspired and ready to invest in real estate and we were listening to all his books, and we’re like, “Yeah, we’re going to make this happen.” How do you get a hold of other people’s money? And, how do you invest in these houses? It just didn’t make sense, so we knew we had to get a Mentor.
Jovany: I was one night watching a YouTube video and I just typed in, how to buy a house with no money. And, Phil’s video came up and I remember it to this day, he was talking to a college class about how you can turn houses into different types of sources of income. And, that sparked my interest from there. He offered his free book. So, when I read his book, I downloaded it on Audible, listened to it three or four times, and we were excited. We were hooked then and from there…
Heather: I think when we were comparing which program to use, and who was going to be the right Mentor for us. Since, I had just gone into real estate and I had learned as a realtor, how much money that it takes for a down payment, and how you can qualify and things like that, I was really thinking to myself, “Okay, if we’re just going to buy a property and rent it out and we’re just going to be landlords, it’s going to take us forever to have enough houses, to where we’re cash flowing enough for him to leave his job.” It just didn’t make sense. And, when we started watching Phil’s videos and his creative investing, is where it just changed everything for us. And, we were like, “Okay, now this makes sense, and this is how we can actually make a bigger profit and make more money, and do what we want to do together.”
And essentially, we accomplished exactly that. Last year my husband was able to retire from his full-time job. So now, I still am a realtor, and we get to do this career and this business together. We flip houses together, and I am forever grateful that we found Phil. I know that we would not be where we are today without him. Yes, there was a profit share, and we could have been making a 100% of nothing if we did this by ourselves. And so, I am so grateful for the program. I’m grateful to the coaches. I highly recommend doing this, if you’re not in my area competing with me. But, I love what we do. And I’m so grateful, and I’m so happy that we made this decision and that we are doing this together.
Jovany: Our expectations when we got in, we were like, “We’re going to go a hundred miles an hour.” And yeah, working a 9-to-5 and even more hours than that, and taking calls, watching the videos…
Heather: And being parents,….. and still having other responsibilities.
Jovany: And being parents, everything, is just, it was well worth it. It was worth it.
Heather: Yeah.
Jovany: And, I told the coaches when we first got interviewed that, “I’ll just never give up, I’ll never give up.” “I don’t care how long it takes I’m going to…” “As long as you keep coaching me, I’ll keep going.” And, we did it. We finally did it.
Heather: And honestly, there were so many times where it was overwhelming, where we thought, “I can’t believe we’re doing this, we should just quit.” “Why did we take on so much?” And without the coaches, I don’t know that we would have continued to do this, but they honestly gave us the confidence and everything that we needed to keep going. And, I’m super grateful. And, I highly recommend doing this program.
