#160: It Gets Really Exciting. I Would Definitely Recommend This Program for Anyone Looking to Start a Real Estate Investment Career. (2 Videos)

Hi everyone. My name’s Alicia. I live in Ohio. I am a wife, a mom of three beautiful girls and a full time quality assurance director at a major fashion retailer here in Ohio. I joined this program because I was ready to stop climbing the corporate ladder. I have no work, life balance. I travel a lot, very busy, and really just invest in myself. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. I thought I would be an entrepreneur by now in my career. I went to business school at Ohio State for that very reason and I’ve always had a passion for real estate. So this was a perfect match for me and really something that I thought could go above my corporate career, making six figure income, and actually leave a legacy for my girls.

Okay, so here’s where it gets really exciting. I get to tell you about the deals that I’ve closed so far. I’ve closed six deals in less than a year. My first one was definitely the best because it was so fast and profitable. I yielded $24,375.35 in less than three months. He was a bachelor. He moved out, we got his house cleaned, did the carpets, cleaned it really well, put some hardware on his kitchen cabinets, made it look beautiful, and then we were on vacation in Florida and we got multiple offers, four offers within just a couple hours. I was scrambling. I was messaging Stephanie and she literally said, “Just breathe.” So we finally got that deal closed. It was nerve wracking. It was so exciting. To see that money get wired to me from Freedom Mentor was amazing and I really started gaining the confidence that I could do this.

Now I had another deal that I thought and I should have probably made that much money, but it just so happened the house was already up on auction.com, it was in foreclosure. We had been going back and forth. Now this seller I had been in contact for for over six months, so I just kept following up, following up, just like they teach you in the blueprint. I finally got the deal, they moved out, we listed the house, we did another equitable interest release, but unfortunately the homeowners were in such financial despair, they had so many judgments, so many liens, and then with all the interest that we made less than a thousand dollars. But I only had $129 in the deal. So that was okay. I learned a lot and it was a good moving lesson and it definitely helped the homeowners because that got them out of some financial problems that they were having.

Now my last deal that I just did yielded the highest profit, $25,837.40. I’m very excited about that. It was a flip. I honestly loved the process. It was a subject 2, so I took over the property, but we couldn’t get the tenants out. So once we finally got the tenants out three months later, working with the sheriff office, we took over subject 2, and then we got in there and the place was wrecked. So we renegotiated with the homeowners, we brought the purchase price down by $15,000. That really allowed us money to put back into the property as the rehab went on. There were cockroaches, it was gross, but we did it and it was amazing and I really loved the process from start to finish, just seeing the house come together. We sold it to a lovely young couple getting married, so that was awesome.

I would definitely recommend this program for anyone looking to start a real estate investment career. Freedom Mentor has honestly exceeded my expectations, the coaches and the live coaching advice you can get any day of the week. So if I can do it with my busy schedule, you can too.
