#159: Phil and the Coaches are Phenomenal. I’ve Never Felt Like I Was Doing This On My Own.

Hello. My name is Krysta and I just wanted to take a quick minute to tell you about my experience with Phil Pustejovsky and the Freedom Mentor program. But first a little bit on my background. Right out of college, I started teaching life and physical science on the middle school level. I had a couple of very young children at the time, and decided that I wanted to have a more flexible schedule and I wanted to be able to stay at home with them. So my husband and I decided that I would take a one-year leave of absence from that job.

Fast forward now about eight years, and one more baby, and I found that I wanted to kind of get back to work. I’d been doing the stay at home mom thing for a long time, and I loved it, but I wanted to use my brain in a work environment again, and I wanted to be able to financially contribute to my family. My boys were getting very expensive. Boys eat a lot. They were also getting really involved in their sports, which is fun, but we needed a little bit of help. I knew that I didn’t necessarily want to go back to the classroom, because I like being able to volunteer at the school, or go on field trips with my kids, do all the PTA meetings and things like that that I wanted to do. So I really was looking for a career, or a job, if you will, that would allow me to work around that schedule.
I’ve always had a thing for real estate, and my dream really was to flip a house. That’s what I wanted to do. Knowing myself well enough, I’m not the most independent when it comes to just going out and doing things. I really like to work with other people, bounce ideas off of them, and I knew that there were people out there that knew way more about this than I did, and I was kind of bound to find them.
So I started Googling coaching, mentorships, partnerships, and I came upon Phil Pustejovsky’s videos. After tons of research and watching testimonials just like this one, my husband and I, with the support of our families, decided to jump in, and I’m so glad that I did. I took the first couple of months to really learn all of the lingo and to get everything set up. Phil has what’s called a blueprint, and so I wanted to take the time to really go through that blueprint and get all of the things needed that he talks about in the training set up so that when the deals started to come in, which they did, I felt really prepared.
I actually ended up closing my first two deals within one week of each other, and those two deals netted us about $40,000, a little over, so that was a great start. About a year later, I’m about a year in now to actually taking deals, and we have netted about $120,000. Right now I have three more in the hopper that are set to close in the next month or two, give or take, that I’m expecting to net around $50,000, and I get new leads every day.
There is absolutely no way that I could have done any of this on my own. Phil and the coaches are phenomenal. They are there to support you. If you get on coaching calls or send messages, they are extremely knowledgeable. They can answer all of your questions. They are very patient, very professional. I’ve never felt like I was doing this on my own. I always knew that I had their advice to come back to, and they always know exactly what to do, so I’m always comfortable moving forward with things that would ordinarily be really scary for me.
So if this is something that you are thinking about doing, if you want to do it part time or if you want to build long-term wealth with your real estate, I would highly recommend it, and I wish you the best moving forward in whatever venture you decide to go for.
