#151: I Think It’s Been a Really Awesome Experience. I Would Say Anybody That’s On the Fence About Joining Freedom Mentor, Go For It! (2 Videos)

Hi, my name is Jayd. I’ve been with Freedom Mentor for about six months now, and I’m in Colorado. I found that I wanted to be a part of the Freedom Mentor group when I was minding my own business at work, and I was listening to some music videos and one of Phil’s commercials came on. Real estate is something I had always wanted to be into, I just never knew how to get into it because I thought I needed huge amounts of money. Now I found out through him that that’s not the case.

A couple of things I really love about Freedom Mentor is that they have coaching calls. Their coaching staff has been very, very helpful. They’re very patient. So no matter how many questions you have, they’re always there to help. That’s been one of the biggest things I’ve liked about Freedom Mentor.
This has been the first mastery event I’ve attended. I’ve, of course, seen a lot of the videos online of past mastery events.

Speaker 2: What did you think of them?

Jayd: I think it’s been a really awesome experience. One of the biggest takeaways for me has been meeting the other students that have been here, and knowing that I’m not alone in the struggles that I’ve faced with certain real estate issues. That’s been really helpful.
I’ve closed one deal. It was actually a mobile home in a mobile home park. I got it under contract for $15,000. I thought I was going to be able to sell it for a lot more, I was going for around $30,000. I wound up selling it for about $19,000. It needed a lot more work than I really wanted to put into it. I wound up not putting any work into it except for some cleanup. So, I walked away with about three or four thousand dollars.
I’ve got a couple other deals that I have under contract right now, but I haven’t closed them yet. One’s an assignment that I might make about $40,000 on. Another one is a mobile home that I renovated, that I won’t do again. That one, we’re still probably make about $35,000, $40,000.
This was my first time meeting Phil. I met him a couple days ago. He’s super personable. I feel like I’ve known Phil for several months now. For the last six months I’ve been watching his videos, a lot. So I’ve felt that connection with him this whole time even though he never met me before. But when we did meet, it was like already knew each other.
I do have another job. My full-time job is in project management for an oil and gas consulting firm. It’s a desk job. They know I do this, but a lot of times I’ll be doing my work and I’ll have one of the videos playing at the same time. So, just pop in the headphones and re-watch them a few times because I don’t catch everything the first run.
I would say anybody that’s on the fence about joining Freedom Mentor, go for it. As is evidenced by a lot of the people I’ve met this weekend, it’s doable. You can make it happen. It’s not easy, but if you put the time and energy into it, you can definitely close deals and make things happen, and move yourself on the way to better freedom financially.

Hi, my name is Jayd. I’m a happily married man with two kids living in the Denver Metro area. I work full time as a project manager for an oil and gas consulting firm, and as you can imagine, wife, kids, job are all very mentally demanding. However, I knew I needed more. I always wanted to get into real estate, but I didn’t know how to do it. I always thought I needed to have lots of money and because of that I kind of put it on the back burner and forgot about it. Until one day I was sitting in my office streaming music and one of Phil’s YouTube videos came on and I kind of saw it as a sign and I started researching it and I looked into Phil and I looked into the program and he promised that I’d be able to close deals without needing any money.
Guess what? He was right. I’ve already closed six deals since joining the program about a year ago, and I’m closing my seventh here in a week. That one, I’m going to get to help this little couple get out of their rental that they had a nightmare of a renter in there, totally destroyed the place. They didn’t know what to do. I helped them find a new investor buyer and as a result, I’m going to be grossing about 29,000. I couldn’t have done it without Phil and his team. Just like all the other deals, they’re always there to answer questions to, to give advice when needed. The calls are great, they’re quick to respond to emails and like I said, couldn’t have done it without their help. I’m looking forward to having a lot more deals starting this afternoon. I’m going to go get one tied up and that’s the start of a nice, nice year and I’m looking forward to closing a bunch of deals this year and one day go into real estate full time. Thanks Phil.
