Hey everybody. Keith here, from Tennessee. I just wanted to share with you a couple of details about the property I recently closed back in July of this year. The property actually got under contract in March and ran through July.
We actually locked a buyer in, about two months in to the process, but before that I had to do a few minor repairs which was basically just painting and a detailed clean on the property. The property smelled like smoke, so that was a very difficult thing that I had to deal with. Couldn’t ever get the smoke smell out. Luckily the new buyer didn’t really care about it so much.
Was happy with the process. The only thing that came up was that during the closing, we ended up having to change closing companies because the original closing company decided that they didn’t want to represent me. I went to a new closing company and in doing so, I ended up having to assign the deal over to the new buyer, which ended up working out just fine because I made more money in the long run by doing that and brought home about $24,000. I was really excited about that part.
I have nothing but good words to say about the coaching team that helped me through this process. They helped me with all the questions I had and just navigating through which paperwork needed to be signed and filled out. Thank you so much for all the coaches that helped me out.
Just to let you know a little bit about why I chose real estate is just so I could have more time with family, more time to myself, and not to have to spend so much time at a nine to five job where I’m just wasting years away for somebody else’s pocket. I’m enjoying what I’m doing so far. I look forward to doing more deals in the future. Let’s keep them going.
